Located at the northern end of Central Park, ArchCare at Terence Cardinal Cooke Health Care Center (TCC) has delivered exceptional long-term residential care, short-term rehabilitation and other vital health services for people with diverse needs. Staff members recognize and respect the individuality of each person in their care and are dedicated to creating a nurturing environment that enhances their dignity and independence and improves the quality of their lives. Our active Family and Resident Councils give residents and family members a voice in our activities and foster a sense of community and mutual support that they say sets ArchCare apart. The 130-bed Central Park Rehabilitation Center combines top-flight medical care with expert rehabilitative services to ease patients� transition from hospital to home following a serious illness or surgery. Operated in collaboration with the Mount Sinai Hospital Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, this premier program features 24-hour medical coverage; nurses with advanced acute care training; and a full range of physical, occupational, speech and other therapies. In addition to caring for the elderly and others with chronic health needs, TCC is known nationally for its highly specialized care for people living with Huntington�s Disease, HIV/AIDS, developmental disabilities and other complex medical conditions.
